We plan to complete the construction of the Aghband–Kelaleh bridge over the Araz River by the Novruz holiday, said Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Islamic Republic of Iran for Consular and Parliamentary Affairs, Vahid Jalal Zadeh, during a meeting with journalists while visiting Azerbaijan, APA reports.
Speaking about the progress of work on the Araz corridor, Jalal Zadeh said that the construction of the highway is currently continuing rapidly.
“We are currently widening the road and making it four lanes. We plan to complete the construction of the Aghband–Kelaleh bridge over the Araz River by the Novruz holiday,” the Deputy Minister said.
