Azerbaijan Railways (ADY) continues to explore opportunities to introduce new innovative technologies aimed at increasing the resilience of railways, APA-Economics reports, citing ADY.
According to the information, the next step in this direction is the launch of applications for AI-based startup solutions capable of detecting and classifying dangerous obstacles on railway tracks in real time and in all weather conditions.
It was reported that the initiative was developed based on discussions held during the “Plug and Play × IDDA – Industry Challenge” innovation workshop, attended by ADY representatives.
The workshop was jointly organized by the Ministry of Digital Development and Transport, the Innovation and Digital Development Agency (IDDA), and the international innovation company Plug and Play. The event discussed challenges in the transport sector and opportunities to apply startup technologies to address them.
