Azerbaijan initiates to establish new information distributor between East and West

Baku. Ilhama Isabalayevaâ€“APA-Economics. Construction of new information distributor between East and West is going to be debated with officials of proper countries within the framework of BakuTel exhibition and conference, Minister for Communication and Information Technologies Ali Abbasov told the meeting on economic indicators of six months of this year. To him, new magistral will cover 20weakly developed countries.
â€œAs regards specialists, the project will contribute to the development of regional economy, implementation of large-scale information technologies. Azerbaijan initiated the project and most of the countries, as well as international organizations supported the project. The project aims to establish global information bank and international commutation center in our country depending on its geographical position, development level and economic capacity in the regionâ€, he said.
