Turkish and U.S companies to engage in preparing and launching artificial satellite of Azerbaijan

Baku. Ilhama Isabalayeva-APA-Economics. The initial results of the negotiations of the Communications and Information Technologies Ministry with the companies of foreign countries on preparing and launching artificial satellite of Azerbaijan have been publicized. Gulam Abdullayev, head advisor of the ministryâ€™s department for coordinating the activity of government establishments told APA-Economics that they approved the proposals of only two foreign companies. The ministry is having talks with Orbital company of the US and Turkeyâ€™s Tursat on preparing and launching the satellite. The discussions focus on preparing, launching satellite, construction of overground station in Azerbaijan, control of satellite from the Earth. The two companies are expected to participate in these processes along with Azerbaijan, contract will be possibly signed with the companies in a month.
