As a result of comprehensive customs control measures carried out by employees of the Balakan Customs Department, goods that were not declared for customs control were detected, the State Customs Committee told APA-Economics.
Thus, an inspection was carried out on two cargo vehicles carrying mixed goods that arrived in the country from Georgia at the department’s Mazimgara customs post.
As a result of the inspection, lenses, household appliances, medical and cosmetic products with a total value of 232,185 manats that had not been declared or had been incorrectly declared for customs control were detected in the vehicles.
An investigation into the fact is underway.
