During the first half of 2026, the Ministry of Justice ensured the return to Azerbaijan from foreign countries of 48 people who were internationally wanted, the Ministry of Justice said in response to APA's inquiry.
Of them, 20 people were received from Russia, six from Georgia, six from Kazakhstan, four from the United Arab Emirates, four from Ukraine, two from Türkiye, two from Montenegro, one from Germany, one from Serbia, one from Moldova and one from Uzbekistan.
At the same time, during this period, the handover of 20 people to foreign countries was ensured. Of them, six were handed over to Uzbekistan, four to Russia, three to the Kyrgyz Republic, one to Moldova, one to China, one to India, one to Türkiye, one to Romania, one to Tajikistan and one to Turkmenistan.
