"Health condition of Mirfattah Baghirov (1965), who injured as a result of landmine explosion in Aghdam is assessed as serious," said Director of Barda District Central Hospital Vusal Mammadov, APA's bureau in Garabagh reports.

According to him, initial emergency assistance has been provided and he has been sent to intensive care.

Mirfattah Bagirov, who was injured as a result of a mine explosion today, has been taken to the Barda District Central Hospital, APA reports.

The other injured, Khagani Teymurov has been taken to the Yevlakh District Central Hospital.

Recall that today, a landmine explosion incident occurred in the village of Aliaghali in the Aghdam district.

The joint statement of the Ministry of Internal Affairs, the Prosecutor General's Office, and the Azerbaijan National Agency for Mine Action (ANAMA) reported that Bagirov Mirfattah Bagir oglu, born in 1965, and Teymurov Khagani Allahverdioglu, born in 1973, fell victim to a landmine explosion while walking in an area not cleaned of landmines.

Both of them received leg injuries.

An investigation is being conducted at the Aghdam district prosecutor's office.
