Identity of one more person whose remains were found in the mass grave in Khojaly determied

"Identity of one more person whose remains were found in the mass grave in Khojaly determined," Deputy Head of the Department of Criminalistics and Information Technology, Head of the Department of Forensic Science Orkhan Rzayev said today at the briefing co-organized by Azerbaijan's Prosecutor General's Office and State Commission on Prisoners of War, Hostages, and Missing Persons, APA reports.

Note that the last remains found in the mass grave belonged to Khojaly resident Shiraslan Mamish oglu Najafov, born in 1952.

He noted that according to the characteristics of the human remains found, it was determined that they were killed 25 years ago. Investigative work was carried out in the mass grave discovered in Khojaly from February 23 to March 4.

During the current level of forensic-genetic examination, the identities of 9 persons were determined:

1. Aghaali Aliyev Naib - 01.06.1933

2. Surayya Aliyeva Behbud – 01.06.1933

3. Akif Mahmudov Seydulla – 01.06.1962

4. Khazar Salimov Sayavush – 01.09.1974

5. Tamilla Salimova Aghamirza – 01.06.1935 (Khankandi city residents)

6. Ali Javadov Musul - 15.06.1954

7. Ismayil Ismayilov Bahman – 01.08.1955

8. Basira Maharramova Vali - 01.06.1954

9. Shiraslan Najafov Mamish - 1952
