Officials of Republican Narcological Center Public Legal Entity of the Ministry of Health have been brought to responsibility, APA reports citing Joint statement of Ministry of Health and Prosecutor General's Office.
According to statement, the Prosecutor General's Office of the Republic of Azerbaijan regularly implements complex measures with the Ministry of Health in the direction of ensurance and reliable protection of human and civil rights in the field of public health protection, detection, and prevention of illegalities committed during the provision of medical services, as well as bringing to justice those who commit violations.
A criminal case was launched as a result of an operation conducted by the Anti-Corruption Office under Prosecutor General's Office against the illegal actions of Elshan Mustafayev and his deputy Zamin Aliyev, the director general of the RepublicNarcological Center Public Legal Entity of the Ministry of Health.
