620 personnel, 51 vehicles, and 4 helicopters involved in firefighting efforts in Azerbaijan's Aghdara -VIDEO

The Ministry of Emergency Situations continues to take necessary and urgent measures to extinguish fires that have broken out in mountainous areas with complex relief in the Aghdam, Khojaly, Khojavend, Fuzuli and Aghdara districts, Press Service of the Ministry told APA.

It was reported that currently, a total of 620 personnel from the State Fire Protection Service, Special Risk Rescue Service, Civil Defense Troops, Karabakh Regional Center and Aviation Detachment of the Ministry of Emergency Situations, 51 pieces of equipment, including 4 helicopters, have been involved in the fire extinguishing operation.

"Although the complexity of the terrain, high temperature and windy weather complicate firefighting operations, firefighting measures are being carried out continuously during the day and night," the statement said.
