Kenan Safarov, an 18-year-old student whose body was found in his residence in Munich, Germany on July 5, has been laid to rest in his native village of Digah in Lankaran district, APA’s southern bureau reports, APA reports.
His body was brought back to Azerbaijan and buried today following a funeral ceremony in Digah village cemetery.
According to family members, the initial version suggests that his death may have been caused by thrombosis triggered after drinking cold water.
Kenan Safarov, the only child in his family and a first-year university student, had been living in Germany for the past six months. Prior to that, he lived in Baku with his mother.
