Yushshenko gets the highest salary among Post Soviet leaders

The investigators from Great Britain came to this conclusion after the investigations of state head’s salaries. Ukraine President gets US $6500 in a month. Turkmenistan President Saparmurat Niyazov gets the lowest salary. No one of the Turkmenistan officials could say about president’s salary, but journalists report that the president gets US $900 in a month. Turkmenistan President does not keep in secret his property. For example, it is noted in the decree on the foundation of Presidentbank that the authorized capital of US $60,000,000 of the bank is his own investment. According to British investigators, Belarus president Alexander Lukashenko gets US $.2.300. According to official information, Russia President Vladimir Putin gets US $6.200, but non-official information US $7.500. Generally, the US president is among those who get the highest salary. Bush’s first salary is US $400.000, besides he gets US $150.000 compensation for transport expenditure and US $19.000 for other expenditures. The president pays no money for living in White House. Singapore President and Prime Minister get the highest official salary. Prime Minister Lee Hsien Loong gets US $2.000.000 in a year with several compensations, President Sellapan US $1.500.000. Japan and Great Britain Prime ministers get US $350-400.000 in a year. There is no information about Fidel Castro’s salary, but his property is estimated to be US $900.000.000. Italian Prime Minister Romano Prodi gets US $156.000, but decided to reduce his salary by 30%. He will get US $107.000 in next year and the salary of Italian government members is reduced by 25 %. The British investigators paid attention to the reduction of Ilham Aliyev’s monthly salary on his own initiative. Azerbaijan Parliament reduced President’s salary from US $19.500 to 3.900 on his own initiative. /APA/
