Over the past three years, we have implemented several important projects in collaboration with NGOs operating in Uzbekistan, Türkiye, the Turkish Republic of Northern Cyprus, and other brotherly Turkic states, said Aygun Aliyeva, the Executive Director of the Agency for State Support to NGOs of the Republic of Azerbaijan, during her speech at the "Turkic Heritage: Solidarity of Civil Societies" Forum, APA reports.
“These projects include the Azerbaijan-Türkiye NGO Cooperation Forum, the international conference ‘The Heydar Aliyev Factor in the Unity of the Turkic World,’ the project ‘Development of Relations Among Families of Martyrs in the Turkic World,’ the Baku Forum of Young Writers of the Turkic World, the ‘Return to Western Azerbaijan’ Turkic World Summit, and the event on climate initiatives of civil society representatives from Turkic states held within the framework of COP29 and etc.
This year, the Agency will support important events presented by a number of NGOs, such as the "Kazakhstan-Azerbaijan NGO Cooperation Forum", the "Forum of Civil Society Representatives Operating in Turkic States", etc. The forum held today can also be considered a successful initiative in this series," she said.
