A meeting on the coordination of FM radio broadcasting stations between the Republics of Azerbaijan and Iraq was held within the framework of the World Telecommunication Development Conference held in Baku, the Ministry of Digital Development and Transport (MDDT) told APA-Economics.
The Azerbaijani side was represented by representatives of MDDT, the Information and Communication Technologies Agency (ICTA) and the State Radio Frequencies Administration.
During the discussions, taking into account the provisions of the Memorandum of Understanding signed in Baghdad in 2023, the frequencies and other technical parameters of existing and planned FM radio broadcasting stations between the two countries were agreed upon, and a protocol was signed in this regard.
At the end of the meeting, it was decided to continue cooperation on the above-mentioned issues.
