“1 in 3 dollars spent globally was directed on artificial intelligence,” said Minister of Digital Development and Transport of Azerbaijan Rashad Nabiyev during his speech at the fourth "INMerge" Innovation Summit held in Baku today, APA-Economics reports.
"Azerbaijan is trying to keep up with this trend. A 50% increase in Azerbaijan's research work in the field of artificial intelligence is expected. The main direction of the newly created innovation center is artificial intelligence. 70% of universities operating in the republic are focused on artificial intelligence," the minister added.
