Deputy Minister of Digital Development and Transport Samir Mammadov held a meeting with Benny Moore, the international cooperation representative of the “Lincoln” Club from Orange County, USA.
The “Lincoln” Club is one of the largest business clubs in California, and its mission is to create an environment for networking, learning, and access to opportunities for business representatives.
During the meeting, prospects for developing cooperation between Azerbaijan and the USA in the fields of high technology, transport, and logistics were discussed. It was noted that our country attaches great importance to partnership with the USA in these areas.
Samir Mammadov highlighted Azerbaijan's achievements in digital development. It was noted that ensuring full access to broadband internet, Tier III-level data centers, the new generation digital signature solution SİMA, and the MyGov platform have placed Azerbaijan among countries with a “very high” e-government rating.
It was also reported that cooperation has started with EPAM, one of the leading IT companies in the USA, on a new platform called MyGov Business, which will serve as a single window function in state-business relations.
During the meeting, extensive discussions were held on promoting long-term cooperation with member companies of the “Lincoln” club in B2B and B2G formats, opening company representatives in Azerbaijan, developing human capital, joint investment, and the creation of joint venture funds.
