The Innovation and Digital Development Agency (IDDA) held bilateral meetings with delegations from Mali, Tanzania, Burkina Faso, Somalia, Senegal, Chad, Tunisia, Kenya, and other African countries, IDDA told APA-Economics.

During the meetings, an exchange of views was held on the prospects for cooperation in the field of digital development.

As part of the visit, the African delegations became acquainted with Azerbaijan’s digital state technologies. During the presentations, detailed information was provided on citizen-oriented digital solutions such as “mygov” and “mygov ID,” as well as digital government solutions – Digital Document Circulation and “digital.bridge.” In particular, “GovTech” products operating on the “single window” principle, exemplified by “mygov,” attracted great interest.

Salar Imamaliyev, Chief Commercial Officer of IDDA, stated that several African countries are interested in learning from Azerbaijan’s digital development experience, and IDDA is ready to systematically carry out experience exchange in this direction. He also emphasised that the growing interest of other countries in Azerbaijan’s digital state products is an indicator of the quality of the successful digitalisation policy in our country.

It should be noted that these meetings are held within the framework of the World Telecommunication Development Conference (WTDC-25) and serve to build digital bridges between countries, explore cooperation opportunities, and strengthen technological diplomacy.
