“Last year, growth in the transport sector in our country amounted to 5%, while growth in the ICT sector was approximately 8.5%," said Rashad Nabiyev, Azerbaijan’s Minister of Digital Development and Transport, during a meeting chaired by President Ilham Aliyev dedicated to the Unified Action Plan on “Azerbaijan's New Digital Architecture,” APA reports.
“As you have rightly pointed out, the digital economy is already surpassing the traditional economy worldwide. We expect the additional value created by artificial intelligence to reach approximately $16 trillion by around 2030,” the minister emphasized.
