Expanding economic cooperation between Azerbaijan and Hungary has been discussed, the Ministry of Economy told APA-Economics.
The Minister of Economy, Mikayil Jabbarov, met with Gellért Jászai, Hungary's special envoy for the development of foreign economic cooperation and the chairman of the company 4iG Space and Defence Technologies Plc.
The successful development of Azerbaijan-Hungary economic and trade relations, especially existing ties in the energy sector, was emphasized. The importance of mutually beneficial cooperation was highlighted, and future partnership prospects were discussed.
During the meeting, Azerbaijan's favorable business environment was noted. It was stated that 4iG Space and Defence Technologies Plc. is interested in investing in the country’s developing ecosystem.
The parties exchanged views on expanding trade and investment, transport-transit cooperation, establishing joint ventures in industrial zones, and opportunities for technology transfer.
Note that 4iG Group is a Hungarian information technology (IT) and telecommunications company. Its main areas of activity include IT services, telecommunications, satellite technologies, and the space industry.
