"Efforts are being made to establish minimal requirements for information and cybersecurity in media entities in Azerbaijan," said Elvin Shahverdiyev, Deputy Head of the Electronic Security Service under the Ministry of Digital Development and Transport, during a panel discussion at the event titled “Public Processes in the Media Sphere,” APA reports.
He mentioned that the formation of these requirements is already in progress: “In close cooperation with government institutions, these requirements are being reviewed and revised. In the near future, minimal requirements will be established in this direction. One of the main causes of cyber incidents is the failure to comply with minimal cybersecurity and information security requirements.”
