C4IR: We are preparing Azerbaijan's "Digital Economy Strategy" for the next 5 years

"We are preparing Azerbaijan's 'Digital Economy Strategy' for the next five years, which includes nearly 100 initiatives," said Fariz Jafarov, Executive Director of the Center for Analysis and Coordination of the Fourth Industrial Revolution (C4IR), during the "New Technologies for a New World" panel at the XII Global Baku Forum, APA reports.

"The organization I lead has created a unique system. This is the application of artificial intelligence in the call centers of individual organizations. The system processes calls after receiving them. AI technologies can be used in large manufacturing enterprises as well as in the provision of public services. We are preparing Azerbaijan's 'Digital Economy Strategy' for the next five years, which includes nearly 100 initiatives. At the same time, security is of utmost importance to us. For this purpose, the Special Communication and Information Security State Service has been established in Azerbaijan. We can also rely on artificial intelligence in the Azerbaijani transport system. The key is to use AI capabilities effectively. It can assist in government operations, report preparation, strategy development, and other areas," Fariz Jafarov said.
