The PostEurop General Assembly and Business Forum will be held in Baku on October 7–8, 2026, APA-Economics reports.
The international event will be hosted by Azerpost LLC, an AZCON Holding company.
The event will bring together European postal operators, representatives of international organizations, and industry leaders. During the two-day program, participants will discuss the strategic development priorities of the postal sector, adaptation to changing market conditions, customs and tariff changes affecting cross-border operations, as well as the development of more accessible and inclusive postal services.
The first day of the program will be dedicated to statutory matters of the PostEurop General Assembly, implementation of the organization's strategy, and areas of activity for the upcoming period. The Business Forum, to be held on the second day, will focus on current challenges facing the European postal sector, operational resilience, and new approaches.
A special exhibition dedicated to the 70th anniversary of EUROPA postage stamps is also planned as part of the General Assembly. In addition, a special cancellation ceremony will be held for a postage stamp dedicated to the PostEurop General Assembly being held in Baku.
Baku's hosting of the event demonstrates Azerbaijan's participation in international postal cooperation and the development of Azerpost's relations with the European postal community.
