Baku hosts "Critical Infrastructure Defense Challenge 2025" event

Today, the region’s largest event in the field of cybersecurity – the “Critical Infrastructure Defence Challenge 2025” (CIDC-2025) – has kicked off at the “Baku Congress Center”, APA-Economics reports.

The event is being held with the joint organization of the State Service of Special Communication and Information Security and the State Security Service (SSS).

According to the information, this year’s CIDC-2025 event has brought together a total of 2,245 visitors, 934 training participants, 51 teams, and 56 partner organizations. The main goal of the festival is to share advanced international experiences in the protection of critical infrastructure, information security, digital resilience, and the application of artificial intelligence, as well as to strengthen cooperation between the public and private sectors.

The event is organized with the aim of improving the experience, knowledge, and skills of employees from government agencies, critical infrastructure, financial, and telecommunications sectors in the field of information security, as well as strengthening cooperation and coordination between the public and private sectors.
