In the first four months of 2025, the Azerbaijan Space Agency (Azercosmos) exported satellite telecommunication services worth 5.6 million USD to 40 countries, APA reports, citing the May edition of the “Export Review” by the Center for Analysis of Economic Reforms and Communication.
This figure represents a 12.5% decrease compared to the same period last year.
The income from service exports accounted for 65% of Azercosmos’ total revenue during this four-month period. In April 2025 alone, Azercosmos exported services worth 1.6 million USD to 38 countries.
During the reporting period, the top five countries in terms of satellite telecommunication service exports were United Kingdom – 1.5 million USD, Luxembourg – 1.2 million USD, Nigeria – 255,000 USD, Egypt – 238.6 thousand USD and Türkiye – 238.5 thousand USD.
