Azercosmos' export revenues decreased by more than 11%

In January-May of this year, the Azerbaijan Space Agency (Azercosmos) exported satellite telecommunications services worth 7 million US dollars to 40 countries worldwide, APA-Economics reports, citing the June issue of the Export Review presented by the Center for Analysis of Economic Reforms and Communication.

The data shows that this is 11.4% less compared to the same period last year.

In five months, the revenue from Azercosmos’s service exports accounted for 65% of its total income.

In May of this year, Azercosmos exported services worth 1.4 million US dollars to 33 countries.

During the reporting period, the top five countries for satellite telecommunications service exports were the United Kingdom with 1.9 million US dollars, Luxembourg with 1.5 million US dollars, Nigeria with 345.6 thousand US dollars, Türkiye with 300.6 thousand US dollars, and Egypt with 298.2 thousand US dollars.
