Azerbaijani startup awarded in Kazakhstan

In cooperation with Google, Kazakhstan has hosted the Caucasus and Central Asia 2024 hackathon. Azerbaijani startup Farm Forward secured 3rd place in the hackathon that brought together more than 120 participants from 7 countries in Astana. The startup's founder, Altun Tarverdiyev, was awarded by the hackathon organizers, the Ministry of Digital Development and Transport of Azerbaijan told APA-Economics.

A delegation led by Deputy Minister of Digital Development and Transport, Samir Mammadov, represented Azerbaijan at the event.

During the visit, Deputy Minister Samir Mammadov met with Olga Skorokhodova, Head of Government Affairs and Public Policy for the Caucasus and Central Asia at Google, and Kazakhstan's Deputy Minister of Digital Development, Kanish Tuleyushin.

Note that the Caucasus and Central Asia 2024 hackathon, held under the slogan "Build With AI for Sustainable Growth!", brought together Artificial Intelligence-based startups. A total of 21 startups reached the final stage, and the top 3 teams were awarded based on the highest scores from the jury. The winning teams received cash prizes, incubation support, and opportunities for collaboration with global tech firms.
