TikTok has announced the launch of the creative award called TikTok Ad Awards 2025 in Middle East, Asia, and African countries, including Azerbaijan, in the field of advertising. The award ceremony will be held in Riyadh in December, where brands and agencies that create brilliant, results-oriented marketing campaigns using TikTok’s special features will be awarded.
TikTok is holding the international Ad Awards for the second consecutive year. Its main goal is to highlight the most inspiring advertising campaigns in the region, emphasizing brands that manage to combine originality, creativity, and emotion with impactful business results.
Applications are now open and cover advertising campaigns carried out on TikTok from October 1, 2024, to October 31, 2025. Along with Azerbaijani brands and agencies, representatives from Kazakhstan, Türkiye, Cyprus, Saudi Arabia, UAE, Qatar, Lebanon, Iraq, Egypt, Morocco, Kenya, Nigeria, South Africa, Pakistan, Bangladesh, and Sri Lanka can also participate in the award.
This year, participants can apply in seven categories. Each category reflects one of the key aspects essential for the success of advertising campaigns on TikTok:
1. It’s the Creative for Me (Creative Potential). In this category, the main criteria are creative idea and strategy. This category is open to brands and agencies that show boldness, push the boundaries of creativity, and achieve impactful results while running their campaigns on TikTok.
2. Community Core (Voice of the Community). This category evaluates the best engagement of TikTok creators and the most effective collaboration with the platform’s community.
3. Full Funnel Flex (Focus on All Stages). This category covers campaigns with integrated strategies that demonstrate measurable results across all stages of the marketing funnel – from awareness to conversion and sales.
4. Big Branding Energy (Brand Power). This category evaluates campaigns that creatively and brilliantly showcase storytelling and significantly increase brand awareness.
5. Goal Digger (Achieving the Goal). This category recognizes advertising campaigns that deliver concrete business results for brands, improving advertising efficiency, and increasing conversion rates and sales.
6. Bougie on a Budget (Budget Doesn’t Matter). This category is designed for campaigns that, despite budget and resource limitations, effectively combine organic and paid content to achieve maximum impact and impress the platform community.
7. Sound On Please (Turn the Sound Up). This category is intended for advertising projects where sound effects form the core of the creative idea and enable the campaign to be executed in the most striking way.
The People's Choice (Public choice). In this category, the winner will be the campaign voted for by the guests at the award ceremony.
The main winner of the award will receive the highest honor – The Greatest Of All Time (The G.O.A.T "The Greatest Legend"). This award will be presented to the best campaign distinguished by its creative approach and achieving maximum effectiveness in any results. The purpose of the award is to highlight a brand that creates a brilliant example for culture, brings joy and pleasure to users, and generally has a positive impact on the TikTok community. Nomination for the G.O.A.T award will automatically apply to all participants who have applied in any of the seven main categories.
