An information security and cybersecurity strategy has been adopted in Azerbaijan, and all work is being carried out in line with this strategy, Minister of Digital Development and Transport Rashad Nabiyev said during a meeting dedicated to the unified action plan titled “Azerbaijan’s New Digital Architecture,” held under the chairmanship of President Ilham Aliyev, APA-Economics reports.
“The work of the Information Security Coordination Commission has been reorganized in recent years, and within the framework of this Commission, all challenges facing our country in the field of cybersecurity will be addressed in a comprehensive manner in the near future. The establishment of sectoral SOCs — known as Cybersecurity Operations Centers — is very important. We must create the legislative framework for this. At the same time, it is essential to establish CERTs (Electronic Security Services). Specific provisions regarding their establishment are included in the action plan,” the minister added.
