A unified “Digital Solutions and Services Platform” is planned to be established in Azerbaijan to meet the demand of enterprises for digital solutions, and the registration of digital solution providers on this platform will be encouraged, APA-Economics reports.
This measure is reflected in the “Strategy for the Development of the Digital Economy of the Republic of Azerbaijan for 2026–2029.”
According to the document, research will be conducted on mechanisms to encourage the registration of enterprises and individuals in the country. At least 20 providers are expected to be registered on the newly created platform. Through the platform, the share of enterprises that have undergone digital transformation is planned to reach 20%.
Based on the United Kingdom’s “Digital Marketplace” model, this system will contribute to increased competition and innovation for both the public and business sectors, reduce costs in public procurement, and enable access to more efficient digital solutions.
