Small, medium, and even large enterprises face difficulties when implementing artificial intelligence in business, especially in terms of finance and human resources, said Aziza Vidadi, Head of the Department of the Center for Analysis and Coordination of the Fourth Industrial Revolution, during a panel discussion at the “StrategEast: Eurasian Forum on State and IT” held in Baku, APA-Economics reports.
She noted that there are a number of approaches to solving these problems:
“For example, public-private partnerships, the use of programs such as Coursera, or other cooperation models. We also collaborated with StrategEast on the IT Hub project in 2023, and this project was very successful. Some students even got jobs. Another solution is to create a joint infrastructure.
For example, the Ministry of Economy is currently working on the creation of a supercomputer center. This center will also be open for use by small and medium-sized businesses."
A. Vidadi said that the supercomputer means high-performance computing capabilities with a computing power of 1.3 petaflops: “We will create such a center where state institutions, the private sector, and universities can come and conduct research, develop their ideas and projects. We are currently collecting the needs of the ecosystem.”
“Another support mechanism could be incentive measures, such as tax breaks, as well as financial support from the government,” she added.
