Azerbaijan to approve 10 new national standards in field of ICT

The next meeting of the Technical Committee on standardization in the field of “Information and Communication Technologies” (AZSTAND/TK 05), established by the Azerbaijan Institute of Standardization (AZSTAND) under the Antimonopoly and Consumer Market Control State Agency under the President of the Republic of Azerbaijan, has been held, AZSTAND told APA-Economics.

According to the information, along with AZSTAND, representatives of the Ministry of Digital Development and Transport, the State Security Service, the Information and Communication Technologies Agency, the Azerbaijan Cybersecurity Organizations Association, the Azerbaijan Information and Communication Technologies Industry Association, and “AzInTelecom” LLC participated in the meeting.

During the meeting, the work carried out in accordance with the 2025 Action Plan of the mentioned Technical Committee and the issues requiring resolution were discussed. A decision was made to approve 10 draft national standards considered relevant to the field.
