In Azerbaijan, the most attacked sectors are oil and gas, construction, and building automation, said Dmitry Galov, head of the Russian research center at Kaspersky and an international cybersecurity expert, APA reports.
"From January to November, the most attacked industrial sectors in Azerbaijan were 39% oil and gas, 36% construction and building automation, and 30% other industries. As for the most common threats, 10% were dangerous web resources, 8% were phishing, malicious scripts, trojans, backdoors, and keyloggers. We can note that 30% of users faced attacks," Galov added.
He also noted that Azerbaijan ranks 39th in the world for the number of attacks on mobile devices. In total, the number of attacks exceeded 2.3 million in 2024.
