Within the framework of Postal Leaders Forum held in Baku including general discussions bilateral meetings is organized and exchanges of ideas are made, Azerpost LLC, which operates under the Azerbaijan Transport and Communication Holding (AZCON) told APA-Economics.
According to the information, one of these meetings was held between Azerpost LLC and Georgian Post. The Acting Chairman of the Board of Azerpost LLC Isi Mustafayev, Board Member Khayyam Alizade, the CEO of Georgian Post, Levan Chikvaidze, and the Head of the International Relations Office Nugzar Bregvadzeari, who were participating at the meeting discussed expanding cooperation between the two countries: Thus, the importance of exploring the possibilities of implementing innovations in the delivery of electronic commercial parcels and sorting processes in the future, as well as establishing new cooperation on the implementation of postal money transfers between Azerbaijan and Georgia was emphasized, and an agreement was reached on new meetings in the future.
Note that the "Postal Leaders Forum" in Baku is organized by the Universal Postal Union, with the support of the Ministry of Digital Development and Transport and Azerpost under the Azerbaijan Transport and Communication Holding (AZCON).
