The Ministry of Digital Development and Transport is preparing special standards to ensure the ethical and responsible use of artificial intelligence, said Deputy Minister Sameddin Asadov during his speech at the scientific-practical conference organized by the Parliamentary Committee for Natural Resources, Energy, and Ecology on the topic “Perspectives of Artificial Intelligence in Combating Climate Change,” APA-Economics reports.
“It is planned to make more than 1 billion data units in the country accessible to the public and to introduce special programs that will allow the private sector, startups, and research institutions to use these data units to develop artificial intelligence models. In addition, regulatory and institutional frameworks in this field are envisaged. We must ensure that the artificial intelligence models created in our country serve humanity and do not become a source of threat in the future,” he noted.
