The innovation economy research platform “StartupBlink” has announced the results of the “StartupBlink Startup Ecosystem Awards” ranking for 2025.
According to the results, Azerbaijan’s innovation ecosystem has been awarded the “Greatest Global Progress in Central Asia” prize. Thus, Azerbaijan advanced by 6 positions in the latest ranking and achieved the highest score among Central Asian countries in this category.
The “Greatest Global Progress” award was presented to the Innovation and Digital Development Agency (IDDA), Azerbaijan’s innovation policy operator. The “StartupBlink” report notes that as a result of IDDA’s activities, the innovation infrastructure and startup policy in the country have developed significantly. In addition, IDDA’s leadership in the field of innovation and the building of a sustainable startup ecosystem were highlighted.
It should be noted that the “StartupBlink Startup Ecosystem Awards” is an innovation ranking published annually and based on global algorithms of the “StartupBlink” platform. In this year's ranking, 22 ecosystems selected from 18 countries based on 40 parameters were awarded.
