Azerbaijan and Kazakhstan strengthen innovation ties with new IDDA–Astana Hub agreement

The Innovation and Digital Development Agency (IDDA) has signed a Memorandum of Understanding with the Astana Hub International Technopark of Kazakhstan, IDDA told APA-Economics.

The document aims to strengthen cooperation between the two countries in the development of innovation, entrepreneurship and startup ecosystems, expand regional innovation ties, and deepen mutual knowledge exchange.

According to the memorandum, IDDA and Astana Hub will cooperate more closely for the growth and mutual support of the startup ecosystems of both countries. The goal is to expand access to markets and venture financing opportunities for startups. Strategic partnership, knowledge and experience exchange will be implemented with Astana Hub in relevant areas.

Note that the document also considers the possibility of developing and implementing joint incubation and acceleration programs for the participation of Azerbaijani and Kazakh startups. Supporting mentoring, training, and access to resources for startups, innovators, and ecosystem members are also among the goals set by the parties within the framework of the collaboration.
