A meeting was held in Tehran, Iran, on the coordination of mobile communication networks between Azerbaijan and Iran, Ministry of Digital Development and Transport (MDDT) told APA-Economics.
According to the information, the meeting was attended by specialists from the Ministry, the Agency for Information and Communication Technologies, the State Radio Frequencies Administration and mobile communication operators from the Azerbaijani side.
The meeting discussed in detail the issues of regulating existing and prospective mobile communication networks in the border areas of Azerbaijan and Iran, and reached necessary technical agreements.
The work done within the framework of the agreements reached in Baku on June 10-12, 2025, on TV and FM radio broadcasts and the release of 700/800 MHz bands was also discussed.
It was decided to continue cooperation on the above-mentioned issues.
