# 28 December 2024 11:23 (UTC +04:00)

The Azerbaijan Standardization Institute (AZSTAND), under the State Service for Antimonopoly and Consumer Market Control, has adopted two new state standards: AZS ISO/IEC TR 24028:2024 "Information Technology – Artificial Intelligence – Overview of Trustworthiness in Artificial Intelligence" and AZS ISO/IEC TR 24372:2024 "Information Technology – Artificial Intelligence (AI) – Overview of Computational Approaches for AI Systems", State Service told APA-Economics.

The newly adopted state standards define the topics related to the trustworthiness of AI systems, including the key computational characteristics of these systems and the essential algorithms and approaches used within them.

The goal of implementing new state standards is to create common rules and guidelines for the proper functioning of AI systems across various platforms and domains, as well as to ensure their interoperability.

Note that the new state standards were discussed in the Technical Committee on "Information and Communication Technologies" (AZSTAND/TK 05), approved by the Institute, and subsequently included in the State Fund of Standardization Normative Documents.
