“We are starting cooperation with Azerbaijan on digital identification,” said Özlem Kahramaner, the co-founder of Türkiye’s “Arksigner” company, during her speech at the Turkic States InsurTech Summit in Baku, APA-Economics reports.
She noted that the integration of digital identification and signature systems will simplify the customer identification (KYC) and onboarding processes in the insurance sector, making operations safer and faster: “We have implemented many new integrations in Türkiye. We are currently also working on establishing cooperation with Azerbaijan’s ‘SİMA’ platform. This will be an important step in the field of digital identification between the two countries.”
According to Kahramaner, such cooperation will contribute to the harmonization of digital signature and identification systems among the Turkic States, as well as to the cross-border digital integration of insurance services.
