“For Adjara, which serves as a ‘gateway’ to the Black Sea and an important regional center, strengthening friendly and professional ties with Azerbaijan is of particular importance,” Zurab Pataradze, Chairman of the Government of Georgia’s Autonomous Republic of Adjara, said during a meeting with Chairman of Azerbaijan’s Constitutional Court Farhad Abdullayev, APA’s local bureau reports.
According to him, the strategic partnership between Georgia and Azerbaijan and centuries-old friendly relations create a solid foundation for strengthening bilateral cooperation.
In this context, Zurab Pataradze emphasized the importance of strengthening ties between sister cities and expressed confidence that these ties would contribute to the implementation of important projects.
The head of government noted that the key aspects of bilateral relations and prospects for expanding the partnership were discussed during the meeting.
