"At this stage, we must achieve stability and then ensure that the presidential election is held in accordance with the law after the martial law regime is lifted", said Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy, APA reports, citing Unian.
He also recalled that his country has repeatedly expressed its readiness for a ceasefire:
"The main question now is whether the Russian side and our allies are ready for this. The second issue is whether our partners can carry out technical monitoring of the ceasefire. If all this is achieved, it will ultimately result in the end of the war. The martial law regime will be lifted only after that."
