Defense Minister Zakir Hasanov met with his Turkish counterpart Hulusi Akar, said the Turkish National Defense Ministry APA reports.
The ministers met as part of the 15th International Defense Industry Exhibition (IDEF-21) opened by Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan.
The sides exchanged views on bilateral and regional defense and security, as well as cooperation in the defense industry in a cordial and warm atmosphere.
At a recent meeting to assess Armenia's provocations on the border with Azerbaijan, Minister Hulusi Akar stressed that Turkey will continue to stand by its Azerbaijani brothers in the cause of justice.
