Moscow continues contacts with Baku regarding the detained Russian citizens, said the official representative of the Russian Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Maria Zakharova, during today’s briefing, APA’s Moscow correspondent reports.
According to her, Moscow supports contacts with the Azerbaijani side concerning the detained Russian citizens, including through law enforcement channels.
“We are confident that it is important to resolve all arising issues on the basis of partnership and through existing political and diplomatic channels. Such an approach precisely serves the fundamental interests of our countries and peoples,” the Russian Foreign Ministry spokesperson emphasized.
