World Health Organization (WHO) Director-General Dr. Tedros Adhanom Ghebreyesus will visit Baku on March 12-13 to participate in the XII Global Baku Forum organized by the Nizami Ganjavi International Center, said WHO Representative Office in Azerbaijan as a response to APA's inquiry.
Dr. Tedros will deliver a speech at the opening ceremony, addressing global health challenges and the importance of international cooperation.
On March 13, he will take part in a high-level panel discussion titled "Rethinking Multilateralism in a Multipolar World" and share his perspectives on global health governance with participants.
Within the framework of his visit, Dr. Tedros is also expected to hold high-level meetings with government officials to discuss WHO's potential cooperation opportunities for healthcare development and strengthening in Azerbaijan.
