"The political situation in Balkankar is very difficult," Serbia's Foreign Minister Marko Djuric told APA.
The minister said that Serbia is trying to preserve its independence: "Unfortunately, the war in Ukraine is affecting the Balkans as well. A few years ago, attempts were made to change the political situation in the Balkans. We respect the provisions of international law. And we are in favor of respecting the rights of the Serbian population in Kosovo."
Djuric emphasized that the rights of Serbs were violated in Kosovo: "Russia, China and others support our territorial integrity. But we are witnessing the difficulties of people in places. Even in the most difficult issues, we try to find a peaceful solution."
The head of MFA also pointed out that he is aware of the difficulties that Azerbaijanis have experienced in the past 30 years.
