The current volume of our mutual trade remains low, Uzbek President Shavkat Mirziyoyev said at the 17th Summit of the Economic Cooperation Organization (ECO), APA's correspondent dispatched in Khankendi reports.
The Uzbek President said that last year, trade turnover between ECO members amounted to $94 billion: “It is important to establish a system of green corridors. We have launched an initiative to further improve the investment climate.”
Shavkat Mirziyoyev emphasized that recent geopolitical tensions have once again highlighted the importance of transport corridors: “The transport corridor starting from China will eventually connect with the Trans-Afghan corridor.”
