US Vice President James David Vance thanked the leaders of Azerbaijan and Armenia, Vance, speaking at the first meeting of the "Peace Council" in Washington, recalled his recent visit to Armenia and Azerbaijan, APA reports.
"We are grateful for your partnership, and I think especially of the President of Azerbaijan and the Prime Minister of Armenia, whom I met last week. I thank you all for making this possible and for showing what real leadership can achieve. When you put aside weapons and destruction and invest in people and prosperity, great achievements can be made. So I thank you both for what you are doing," he said.
