U.S. Secretary of State Marco Rubio has spoken about the issue of signing a peace agreement between Azerbaijan and Armenia, Marco Rubio told the EWTN channel, APA reports.
He noted that U.S. President Donald Trump is committed to being a president of peace.
“When we saw Pakistan and India going to war, we intervened directly. The same happened in the case of Cambodia and Thailand. The same applies to Azerbaijan and Armenia. We will be there to support the signing of a peace agreement. Clearly, peace is not something permanent. It requires ongoing effort and must be maintained,” Rubio emphasized.
