The US Embassy has lowered its flags to half-mast in solidarity with Azerbaijan's national day of mourning, the Embassy said in a post on X, APA reports.
“The United States extends its sincere condolences to the families of the victims of yesterday’s tragic accident and best wishes for a speedy recovery to those injured. The U.S. Embassy has lowered its flag in solidarity with our Azerbaijani partners – and we stand ready to facilitate any assistance that may be necessary in the difficult days ahead,” Ambassador Libby said.
