After President Donald Trump hosted a historic Summit in Washington on August 8, my team here has been working tirelessly to elevate US–Azerbaijan relations to a higher level, US Chargé d’Affaires in Azerbaijan, Amy Carlson, said at the opening ceremony of Popeyes Azerbaijan, APA reports.
The diplomat recalled that US Vice President James David Vance paid an important visit to Azerbaijan.
“Azerbaijan and the United States signed a Strategic Partnership Charter covering regional connectivity, mutual trade and investment, as well as defense and security. While the Vice President was visiting Azerbaijan, a large delegation from the US Chamber of Commerce was also in Baku. They had planned to bring 10 companies, but ultimately arrived with 30 companies and 60 representatives,” the Chargé d’Affaires noted.
